SMD
Overall description
The SMD units are extraction systems with side channel blower technology, designed for use in centralised dust extraction systems. They are ideal for extracting dust resulting from dry sanding primers and fillers during surface treatment processes.
Operating advantages
The group is equipped with a cartridge filter system, which is cleaned by means of a timed pneumatic rotary nozzle, ensuring consistent and long-lasting performance. The sucked dust is conveyed into a hopper, which is automatically emptied by an external fan. The connection takes place on two timed Ø100 air locks that open when the engine is switched off, thus emptying all the accumulated dust. The machine is equipped with instrumentation for real time control of the filter cartridge efficiency, as well as a vacuum limiting valve for motor protection. An ATEX 300x300 mm explosion-proof panel is integrated to ensure maximum operating safety. A version with a standard dust collection tank is also available to adapt to several plant layouts.
Applications and sectors of use
SMD is suitable for industrial plants in the automotive, nautical, wood industry, carbon fibre and fibreglass sectors, where high dust extraction performance and safe handling are required.
